Shrubs

Shrubs are medium-sized, woody plants characterized by multiple persistent stems rising from or near the ground, typically staying under 10 to 20 feet tall. Unlike trees, which usually have a single dominant trunk, shrubs branch out close to the soil, and unlike delicate herbs, they have hard, wood-like stems that survive year-round.
